I am officially trained as a birth doula! I could not be more excited to be a part of the birth community and to be able to help families during birth! It has been a humbling and inspiring process to learn about a doula’s role in the birth of a tiny human, and I’m humbled to even consider what it might mean for me to be part of someone’s birth journey.
To be able to blend many passions and interests into one has been an incredible realization! I am passionate about helping and encouraging others, lifting others up to build confidence, and learning others’ stories. I am also passionate about birth. I’ve loved learning more about the birth process, how I can emotionally and physically support families during birth. It is a true gift to be present at someone’s birth!
This journey will be fulfilling and inspiring. It will also be challenging and hard at times. I will grow as a human in ways I can’t anticipate at this time. Follow along with me on this journey!
Get Social Media to Work For Your Business

Baby wearing is one of my favorite things about motherhood. I remember long before I had Leo, baby wearing was something I was looking forward to. To hold your baby close where they are safest, and also to be able to have your hands free to get other things done. Is there anything better?! I am a time efficiency maximizer, so being able to achieve baby snuggles, while also maximizing productivity is right up my alley. I own three different types of carriers and each one of them serves a different purpose. There are so many great options out there, so I would go off of recommendations from friends and what you research.

I love setting goals and creating vision boards. There is something magical about envisioning the future, what is possible, and how pieces can fit together. I love it! So naturally, when I started Square Top Creative, I needed a vision board to keep myself focused and aligned with my goals.

I’ve never been very good at routines. I get so excited to start something and be consistent, but then I naturally fall out of it. I’ll go in waves of trying new things and be invested, and then I don’t know what happens. I lose interest, or maybe it’s because I’m a curious person and love seeing what something is like and sometimes that’s enough.

I am a little over a month into this small business journey and so far, the risk factor is driving my intuition. I have nothing to lose. I am starting from scratch, so I literally have nothing to lose. My only choice is to go with what feels right. It’s amazing how strong your intuition can feel when you need it to lead you. The doors are wide open, there is nothing but goals, connecting, and hard work ahead. Also in that doorway is light, inspiration, and love.
